All we needed was another capsule collection! This one is courtesy of Alicia Keys, winner of 14 Grammy Awards, who teamed up with famous sportswear company Reebok.
This time we find ourselves with the classic sneakers that are part of Reebok’s history: the “Freestyle Double Bubble”, “Classic Nylon Slim” and “Princess” have all been revisited with studs, gold and prints of a piano keyboard on a black base.
This is what Alicia Keys said: “Working with Reebok seemed natural to me; I was always a big fan of the brand. My 5411 – that’s what we called the “Freestyle” in NYC because they cost $54.11 – were practically glued to my feet before and during my teens.
I loved moving with my hi-tops! Reebok is a brand that is timeless and perfectly adapted to me. I am very moved at the thought of being part of Reebok’s future!”

She added: “Mt style is eclectic and I wanted to be sure to add a personal touch to the sneaker. I am inspired by many things: the streets of New York, the music I listen to, my friends, the world that surrounds me.
This is not only about designing a pair of shoes: they need to be cool and make you feel good! I have taken elements from the street, the style and the stage – three things that are fundamental to me.”
The capsule collection will be available in Italy from September 30th exclusively at Foot Locker and will be priced from 70 Euros.
