Made in Malga - Discover the taste of Italian mountain cheese

During the two days in which the event will take place, it will be possible to find:

  • Shepherd cheeses from all over Italy for on-site tasting with the presence of the producers;
  • Tastings led by experts, combined with artisanal mountain beers and wines produced at high altitude;
  • Themed dinners with shepherd cheeses in the Altopiano restaurants;
  • Events and tastings in the shepherd huts.

The producers, behind counters filled with goodness, will be available for tastings both Saturday, September 22 (from 12pm to 6pm) and Sunday, September 23 (from 10am to 6pm). Before entering into the heart of the event on Friday, September 21 at 6pm, you can participate in “The Transhumance” that will pass along Asiago’s main road, usually dedicated to the “walk”, also coinciding with the Fair of San Matteo, the patron saint of the capital of the Altopiano’s “Seven Communities”.

Of course there will be workshops open to all (subject to the payment of a daily entrance ticket of 15 euros) where you will be able to taste the best of shepherd dairy production paired with artisanal beers and prestigious wines, both produced at high altitude.

The event will also have its moment of glamour, with the Gala Dinner planned at the Golf Club Asiago for 50 euros.
