The exhibition is called “ARTCIBÒ eating…with art”; it could be the subject of a debate that has exercised art throughout the centuries. Instead it will be an attractive theme; the exhibition is sponsored by the City of Padua and organized by “Associazione A&T Design”, an organization that has been active in Padua for years, specializing in cultural projects relating to visual arts. A group of artists from the association have taken their cue from the many contradictions present in our society and created works based on various themes related to the subject: food as nutrient, food as pleasure, allegories linked to food, contradictions like excess of food on one side and waste of resources, hunger and malnutrition on the other.
Why will September 21st be a special date? Because the motto of the aperitif will be: “goodness, cleanliness, and fairness”, which is what has distinguished the Slow Food movement from the start.
Amongst others, it will be possible to taste the mythical “foccacce” and Olmo Beer, ancient food based on ancient recipes and cooked according to centuries-old traditions; the bread is made using flour from various cereals and sourdough, and baked in the oven of the Parco di Rubano, a little corner of paradise only a few miles from Padua.

Unfortunately I will be working but I warmly recommend that you attend the event. It could also be the right time to decide to spend a few days in Turin in October for the “Salone del Gusto”.
